              The Fall meeting of the Midwest Society for Programming 
         Languages and Systems will be held on October 21, 1989 at 
         DePaul University, Chicago, IL.  We will continue with the 
         established informal procedure: 
          
              Lunch will be at 12:00 and there will be talks from 1:00 
         to 5:30.  Dinner will be at 6:00.
         
              There will be a $20 registration fee which will include 
         the cost of meals.

              The meeting will be held at the Loop Campus of DePaul in 
         the Lewis Center (25 E. Jackson Blvd.) which is located on the 
         south west corner of Wabash Ave. and Jackson Blvd.  Parking 
         (fee) is available at the Monroe St. garage.  See the enclosed 
         map. 

              We are still looking for speakers.  If you are interested 
         in giving a half hour talk please contact either:
