I called United Airlines to clarify a term of SIGPLAN's discount
for travel to the POPL conference in San Francisco on January 17-19,
and incidentally learned that only eleven (11) of you have taken
advantage of the contract thus far.  This is a bit surprising.

--At least 5% discount applies to *every* UA published fare,
	whether or not round-trip.
--These discounts are available through any agent.
--San Francisco is a competitive market, and United has frequent service there.
--Colleagues here, even, had booked other fares in ignorance of the discount.

(I apologize for the confusing "round-trip" wording there.)
