I don't know the .htpaswd thing you're talking about. What I do know is that
when you use the .UserName and .Password properties of the Inet control, it
will only work with plain text passwords. In other words, it does not work
with NT integrated security, challenged response, etc.

What the Inet control actually does is encode your username and password at
the start of the url. So if you can acces the page in you browser with

http://username:password@www.mysite.com/mypage.html

then the Inet control should also work...
