I'm a reseller, and sold a Fujitsu LifeBook 530T to a very good
customer. When I received it, I was able to turn it on 4 times before
the video went completely out. I called my vendor, who sent a
replacement out overnight. The customer is unhappy with it because he
spends a lot of time on the road, and can only get about an hour out
of the batttery life. I called Fujitsu, and they sent a replacement
battery. STILL, the battery life is only an hour to an hour and
fifteen minutes.

AGAIN, I called Fujitsu for the customer, trying to get the notebook
replaced with a new one, since apparently the charging/battery unit
inside the notebook is defective. I spoke to a Technical Support Rep,
who would only tell me his name was John. He said no one at Fujitsu
gave their last names. His only solution to the problem was a
replacement battery, which I told him we had already tried. I
couldnt' get anywhere with him, so I asked to speak to his supervisor
or manager. He told me that he was the ONLY person at Fujitsu who
could help me. When I again asked for a manager, he told me the
manager was out, and he would have him return my call. This was 4
days ago, and I still haven't been called back.

The next day, I again called Fujitsu, and after spending 40 minutes on
hold, explaining the situation, I was told I'd be connected with a
manager... I was DISCONNECTED.

I run a computer store, I don't have time to wait on hold for 40
minutes, only to be disconnected. I'm appalled at the lack of support
Fujitsu gave me, as a reseller. I sell only quality products, and if
the manufacturer can't support me, then I won't sell their products
anymore. Further, I URGE EVERYONE NOT TO BUY ANY PRODUCT MANUFACTURED
BY FUJITSU!!!

I REPEAT - - - DO NOT BUY FUJITSU PRODUCTS IF YOU EXPECT THE
MANUFACTURER TO STAND BEHIND THEM!

As a reseller you should know that the 530 only has a small battery
(10.8 volts, 2200mAh.) 1.25-1.5 hours is usual for a small battery.
Fujitsu decided to sacrifice time for weight. Let the buyer beware. :-)
