TI MicroLaser reliability?

All the product descriptions I have seen of the TI MicroLaser
postscript printers (the 17 and the 35[?]) look very attractive.
Does anybody have any information on the reliability/durability
of these printers?

Are the internal consumables (like the toner cartridge and ...?) things
that must be bought special for the TI or will anything for the same
print engine work?

Thanks very much,
