Apparently I missed a Magic bug fix 6 months ago. The symptoms of the bug are:

        Magic incorrectly estimates resistances.  In addition, the
        area and perimeter information in .ext files is wrong (this
        is the cause of the bad resistance estimates).

According to Berkeley this bug has been reported 8 months ago. The fix
was sent to all Magic sites. Apparently I missed the fix. Can someone
send me the fix ?  Thank you very much.
