There are several users at our site who don't like the way Elm only requires
a single keypress (without RETURN to confirm) for its operations, often leading
to chaos (we had to disable the "Edit mailbox" on our Elm, because people were
typing "e", inserting a couple of characters by mistake into the mailbox,
exiting the edit and then ending up with a corrupted mailbox - has anyone else
noticed that Elm absolutely REFUSES to handle mailboxes with one or two
characters extra at the front of the first line ??).
Anyway, it would be nice for future Elm versions to be configurable as to
whether there's a single keypress ("m" for mail etc.) or a keypress + RETURN
(with the ability to overtype prior to pressing RETURN). Just a thought -
anyone else out there agree with me ?

This sounds like a good idea, but after having had an "opportunity" to
look at Elm source code recently, it looks like it'd be evil to implement!
