Hi, I am using Eudora Pro 3.0 in a Windows 95 environment with a Megahertz 28.8 fax/modem. I am dialing to an external ISP called rahul.net. While replying to certain messages or when sending attachments (Word, Excel or Powerpoint), I get the following message randomly : "There has been an error transferring your mail. I said: . and then the SMTP server (bolero.rahul.net) said: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" (The xxxxxxxxx are seemingly junk characters which are not the same in each error message) While the message on which this error comes remains queued in the outbox, it actually is delivered to the addressee. However, since the status remains "Q", Eudora tries to send it again the next time and thus, multiple copies get delivered. The attachments in the messages delivered like this are somtimes corrupted. By the way, some others I know have also faced this problem even though they are on Windows 3.11 and/or are using different modems. Any suggestions ? If you are posting a reply, I shall appreciate if a copy is emailed to me as well. Thanks. sunil@rahul.net
