newbie needs help setting up multiple mail accounts

I share my PC with a friend and we use Eudora as a mail program. We
have a demon account which allows us to have separate user names and
therefore separate Emails. The problem is that as yet we have been
unable to manifest this through Eudora(pro v3.0.1). Ideally we would
like to be able to download all the mail at once and then using our
unique passwords, be able to access our separate E-mails individually.
I`m sure that it must be possible, probably quite easily, but in our
ignorance we still haven`t been able to work it out. TIA for any help.

In Eudora Pro 2.2 which I have you could either filter the mail into
seperate mailboxes or configure pop account section in getting started
to only accept mail addressed to certain individuals. You do this for
example by adding your email name and a + eg so if you have 3 users john
dave ben you would use john@host.demon.co.uk dave+john@host.demon.co.uk
ben+john@host.demon.co.uk in each copy of Eudora you use or whatever is
the option.

First of all, your email address is broken in Agent, please fix it.
With Eudora just set up Mailbox for each user and then use a filter that
filters on the To: (and CC: if you can) header lines and select the
"Transfer To" option and select the destination mailbox. For example,
if you have a user of Dave@fairy.demon.co.uk then set the filter to look
in the To: header for: Dave@fairy.demon.co.uk and then select "Transfer
To:" and select whatever mailbox Dave is going to use. I don't know if
you can protect each mailbox witha password or not though, check the
manual for details.
