Help needed on Telecom Gold gateways?

Help, 
 
I have been trying to establish 2-way e-mail with a company in the UK 
whereby they use Telecom Gold (TG) and I use the Internet only. 
 
I have been using Starnet but it is proving too costly! Via Starnet I would 
address the company as "10084:MAG31653" (quotes excluded). I have since been 
able to send (but not receive!) e-mail via Internet if I use the address 
"10084.mag31653@gateway-to-gold.interspan.gb". On first using this address I 
received e-mail saying a dummy TG mailbox had been created for me, but the 
company in the UK has had no success in replying to this mailbox! 
 
Has anyone else tried using this 'gateway-to-gold' with success? Are there 
other gateways that possibly bypass the messy business of requiring a 'dummy' 
TG mailbox ID? *Any* help appreciated.
