I betting this is an FAQ... I am installing smail3 on a sun sparc that has no uucp programs installed on it (no /usr/bin/uuname in particular), hence all our mail is smtp based direct to the ethernet and we forward any strange address to a gateway machine. My problem is that smail tries to use uucp mailing when forwarding an unknown address to the gateway. How do I turn off the uucp stuff? -James +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | James Peregrino | peregrin@hbsstg.harvard.edu | | Programmer/Analyst | PEREGRIN@HULAW1.BITNET | | Science & Technology Interest Group +-----------------------------------+ | Harvard Business School | "Watch This Space for More | | Boston, MA 02163 | Information." | | Voice:(617)495-6307 FAX:(617)496-5265 | | +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
