I have a modified version of popclient that does that.  I thought that the
original author was a best person...  In any case it does a pretty good job
of finding the desired target.  I can make the source available in my ftp
space if anyone likes...

Dude, you should just set your Reply-To: field up.  I should think that your
newsreader would do the same thing...
