[ A copy is also being sent to Z-Code but I wanted some input from cc:mail sites --ajt ] Some mail arrived here recently with a line: Encoding: 219 Text, 814 HEX in the headers, no other "MIME" type line was present. Z-Mail interpreted this as a multi body part message when it was nothing of the sort. Both pine , mh 6.8 and elm 2.4.21 read the headers correctly and ignored the "Encoding" line. For the cc:mail people, is this inserted at a gateway? I assume it means number of lines since a byte count would be wrong (?). Thank you. -- Alan Thew alan.thew@liverpool.ac.uk ...!uknet!liv!alan.thew +44 51 794 3735
