cc:Mail, Novell and LAN Manager

I would like to hear experiences/facts about the following things :

1) Is someone running the cc:Mail electronic mail program on 

      a) Microsoft LAN Manager
      b) HP's LAN Manager (using a UNIX machine as a server)

Does it work well ?

2) If cc:Mail works alright on top of LAN Manager, how can one
integrate cc:Mail post offices running on LAN Manager and Novell
together (without using X.400 or similar gateway solutions) ?

I hear that in the future cc:Mail post offices can communicate with
each other with TCP/IP. Would this be a working solution to the
question number two ?
