i'm trying to get a POP3 server running on an ODT 3.0 box, without a
development system.

the gcc, glibc, etc. that i pulled down from soils seemed to tar out fine in
/usr/local, but popper (from Berkeley) is looking for four additional
libraries:

bsd, socket, prot, and crypt_i

i renamed the libbsd-compat.a file in /usr/local/lib to libbsd.a, which took
care of the first one. how about the others? can I get them on the net?

thanks,
