Hi everyone i am using a SCO system at work and am trying to get something to work. I am not too familiar with MMDF that is what we are using for mail on this particular system. I have a question about delivering mail from this system and would appreciate any direct responses... thanks. I am getting some info from the general database where everything is stored. The info is 1) message addressed to, 2) sent by, 3) Subject and 4) message body. I need to put this togther and send it out. I thought of invoking "sendmail -t < file-where-info-is-stored", but am not sure if that is how to go about it. we do not have a sendmail.cf file on this system. Any help or pointers to docs that will help will be appreciated. Thanks. -- Sanjay Bhatia I'm Alive.

If "/usr/lib/sendmail -t < file" doesn't work, then strip out the "To:", "From:" and "Subject:" headers and do: cat file | mail -s "The subject" recipient@remote.dom If your MMDF is configured properly this should get out. -- Bill Irwin - The Westrheim Group - Vancouver, BC, Canada ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ uunet!twg!bill 604-431-9600 (voice) | Your Computer bill@twg.bc.ca 604-430-4329 (fax) | Systems Partner
