  I obtained the MM package from HP's ftp server in the UK via the
Internet but have yet to install it. It had instructions for Elm
but I don't remember if it said anything about HP-UX's implementation
in specific. I'm not a unix-guru myself, but would like to hear about
anyone that has installed it (we also run an HP9000/8xx on HPUX 8.0).

I have used the metamail package on hpux 8.0 systems and have used
it with the public domain elm2.4 (not hp's elm).  I haven't tried
too much, but the basics seem to work fine.
