I have been trying to get mush to work on a 3b2, sysvr4. I used the makefile.sys.v and made the necessary changes. The top header line when I first start mush up reads as follows: 1 "/var/mail/metcalfe": 2 messages, 0 new, 0 unread, 0 deleted The first field, msg_cnt, should be 2. When I use the "j" key to go down the list of messages, the msg_cnt changes and also the letter "v" in var changes: 2 "/1ar/mail/metcalfe": 2 messages, 0 new, 0 unread, 0 deleted I have found the code in msgs.c that does this and the value of msg_cnt is correct. I don't know why it doesn't appear that way on the screen, though. And why does it change the letter v in var? Is this a curses problem? I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.
