I hope this reaches Jaye at least via news or mush-users, because I've never managed to get mail through to cs.montana.edu when I tried to reply personally to his inquiries about Z-Mail. Z-Mail 2.1 relieves even this gripe, by providing a network license server option. With the network server, you can install Z-Mail anywhere you like -- just tell the server where to look for the license file. It requires no special permissions to run the server daemon (though it's nice to make entries for it in /etc/services and inetd.conf, it's not required). Further, with the network server, you can buy a one-user license for Z-Mail and use it from any machine on the network. Send mail to info@z-code.com for pricing and other details. -- Bart Schaefer schaefer@zigzag.z-code.com Z-Code Software Corp. schaefer@z-code.com
