How to change 'From' field

I want to change my return address depending upon
whom I want to reply to. I have an alias 'reuse' set 
up in my /etc/aliases and the mails are forwarded to me.
When I reply to 'reuse' mails I want the return address
to be 'reuse@evb.com' instead of mahesh@evb.com. How do I
do this ? I tried setting the USER environment, but it did
not work.
