Mush 7.2.5 - how can I keep msgs read in MAIL?

I want to leave the msgs that I read in $MAIL, but delete the msgs that I have saved or deleted. So the way that I read the doc, keepsave is not what I want. I need a pointer to the proper variable. Oh, has anyone taken mush.1 doc and separated out the mushtool doc so that the remaining doc is now smaller, for those who do not compile in mushtool? Sure would be nice if mush were distributed that way. -- Larry W.
