mush 7.2.3 looses mail on NFS !

Hello!

I just tried to install mush and tracing it found out,
that it (like most mail-readers it seems) does not
lock mail-spool-files over nfs (!) so incoming
messages during updates of the incoming mailbox
will be lost !

Problem is, that 'open dot-lock-file' is not secure
over NFS, but must be replaced by a sequence of
1) open a dummy-file 2) link dummy to lock-file 3) remove dummy
that is because the LINK is again secure and is done directly
on the host which holds the disk !

I'll look into the sources, but having little time, I would appreciate
patches if somebody has done something about that already .

You may want to make sure that /var/spool/mail (or your equivalent) is NFS
mounted with the "noac" (no attribute caching) option.
