I recently noticed that amongst the default ignored fields when displaying
mails, mush includes the Via: field.
Now, I was just wondering, what program generates this field? Is it some
ancient equivalent to Received: used by old mail transport agents?

The "Grey Book" mail protocol used on the JANET network in the academic community in the UK uses Via: fields and not Received: fields. This may not be the only use, of course. -- Internet: P.Hazel@ucs.cam.ac.uk University Computing Service, JANET: P.Hazel@uk.ac.cam.ucs Computer Laboratory, Pembroke St, Phone: +44 223 334714 Cambridge CB2 3QG, England.
