Hi, my name is Alex. I am running a NT Server 4 LAN with some W95 clients. I use Pegasus 2.55 and I am trying to substitute my old mail server with Mercury32 2.11 The problem I have is this: When I send an internal message i.e. to myself and then I check the new mail folder I get the message, but if I check again (or if Pegasus does a POP3 poll) I get the message again and again and again. Now: the strange thing is that ONLY the FIRST one is the real message - all the other are like "ghosts": if you open them they are completely empty - no header, no message, nothing at all. If at this point I close the New Mail folder and I open it again I get again just the "original" message alone, but then "ghosts" start to appear at every poll. If I delete the original and I close the new mail folder, then when I open the folder again they are all gone, but the thing is very annoying. Pegasus is set to DELETE the message after retrieval from the mail server. Mercury POP3 server is set to ALLOW deletion of the messages, so settings seem to be OK. A thing about Pegasus is that all users run an unique copy which is stored on the server. This has't ever created a problem with the old mail server. Is there anybody who has a clue of what is going on, or who is experiencing the problem? Thanks Alessandro Smali London UK
