Can't Stop Forwarding of E-Mail! NW312, Pegasus Win/DOS

Hello fellow Pmail Lovers,

Using Pegasus Mail for Windows (various versions) or DOS v.3.2 r2, NW
3.12, and Novell's GLobal MHS/SMTP we are experiencing the following
strange issue:

After granting a user extended rights, the user forwards his mail
to his ISP account by specifying the ISP account in the "Autoforward"
field. Forwarding then takes place beautifully. However, when the
user wishes to STOP the forwarding, nothing seems to work, including
deleting the forwarding address, or by the admin (me) deleting the
user's settings with PMGRANT (-d or -l-).

This is causing serious problems for the users, since the users'
ISP mailboxes are filling up, even though they are not away (and
they think that forwarding is off, since they set it that way).

Other wild attributes to this problem: This happens (the false
autoforwarding) ONLY when the e-mail is addresses to more than one
person (if the e-mail is addressed only to the user who "turned off"
forwarding, the problem does not happen). I also tried turning the
forwarding on/off through Pmail Win, but to no avail. The problem
happens when sending email from both Pmail Win/Dos.

I analayzed the problem, and don't see any way for this to be due to
Novell's GMHS, since the actual forwarding is done by PMail.

Any help you can provide would be VERY GREATLY APPRECIATED, since my
bosses are getting very upset from the situation, and I have no
control over it.

If a solution is not found, maybe someone can answer this: WHERE DOES
PMAIL STORE THE FORWARDING DATA? I tried text searches for the
forward-to address in the user's home directory, mail directory, and
GMHS directories, but found nothing! The only other place I can think
of is the Netware bindery. Any suggestions?

Thanks much,
Andy Kalati

mastgate + waffle on Novell 3.12 or higher ) i can't make the autoforwarding
option to work. Any information would be really helpfull.
