I tried setting up a spamfilter through my ISP's web site, and shouldn't have. It's blocking a lot of stuff I want, and calls for it to resend are getting no result. (I run pine421 on my ISP's machine; don't trust my command of linux enough yet to connect it to the Net and run my own pine.) Modifying the spamfilter on the ISP's web site gets me an email with the text of a 'procmail script to remove spam from inbox' -- so I did pico .procmailrc, getting a file which appeared to contain all and only the filter. I deleted it, and left an apparently empty .procmailrc behind. Will this do the job? Do I need to delete the .procmailrc altogether? Or what? -- RR 'Beartooth' Neuswanger karhunhammas (at) lserv.com standard disclaimer (s.d.): Keep in mind that I have no idea what I am talking about.

Probably removing (or renaming) the .promailrc file will be safer. -j -- Jeffrey Goldberg I have recently moved, see http://www.goldmark.org/jeff/contact.html Relativism is the triumph of authority over truth, convention over justice From line IS valid, but use reply-to.
