Prog Mailer Under IDA Sendmail 5.65c not Compatible With Sun's?

Hi there, I've just updated our mail server to run Sendmail 5.65c with
IDA enhancements. Everything else (aliases, DBM files, etc.) seem to
work except for the 'prog' mailer. It apparently is not compatible
with the Sun Sendmail one that we were running before (SunOS 4.1.2, no
MX). Various .forward files that used to work are not bombing.

Some folks are doing "| if ... ; then ... ; else ... ; fi" and you get
"sh: syntax error at line 1: `end of file' unexpected" and "unknown
mailer error 2" messages now (didn't used to before).

I found and disabled "OB." so that the blanks in some of the command
lines aren't being changed to ".", that seems to have fixed some of the
problems. Anyone seen this before, and can provide pointers on how to
remedy it? As postmaster, my mailbox is getting full of bounces from
the few people who use this feature, who are on active mailing lists
(natch).

Thanks,
	Peter
