1.  We have installed the client.cf file listed on page 727 of the
O'Reilly sendmail book on:

osf1.3
hp-ux
sunos4.x
irix4.x

and it works great.

2.  The last platform is the sco open desktop 3.2r4.2.  On that
platform addresses such as user@host, user@host.gov, etc. get rewritten
as
user@host.hitc.com.hitc.com, user@host.gov.hitc.com, etc. (an extra
hitc.com is added).  If I change the /etc/resolv.conf to define that
host in a non-existent domain it works.  For example,

domain hitc.gov
nameserver {ip}
.

3.  The idea is we would like all of the Unix platforms to send mail
over to our mail hub.  So far this has worked very well.  I have phoned
SCO and they are still trying to figure it out.  Maybe we should use
mmdf on the SCO's, but I would like to try and use the same agent on
all platforms.

4.  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.  It doesn't seem to
matter what changes I make to the client.cf file?
