Hello Unix Gurus: I am new to Unix and am continue learning from you in these news groups. I am currently hoping to learn to setup mail service for two Solaris 8.0 machines on the network. These machines are not internet and on its local subnet. Both machines contain hostnames of each other and shared common passwd file. I was told it is possible to setup, so mail can be sent from machine1 to machine2 and vice versa without a mail server. If you have a minute to spare, please enlighten me. Thanks in advance, M

If you didn't install the answerbook, you can use docs.sun.com for guidance. That way you get the benefit of Sun's experience.
