I am having problems with the forwarding capabilities provided by the procmail program at an ISP. This capability was working earlier but not now. Is there some configuration issue at the ISP which is causing this problem (described below)? An e-mail sent to this address xxx@somedomain.net domain is delivered to the default e-mail address for our account at the ISP instead of the forwarding addresses specified by the the .forward/.procmailrc files. For example, an e-mail sent to atul@somedomain.net should have been forwarded to atul2000@yahoo.com. but was sent to default@domain.com instead. The following configuration files were in the /usr/home/somedomain directory: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- .procmailrc :0 * ^TOatul * !^FROM_DAEMON ! atul2000@yahoo.com :0 * ^TOakumar1 * !^FROM_DAEMON ! akumar@somdomain.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- -------------------- .forward "|IFS=' ' && exec /usr/local/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #username" -------------------------------------- These files were generated by executing "pmproto" with the following .mailproto file: ------------------------------------------------- .mailproto FORWARD To atul atul2000@yahoo.com FORWARD To akumar1 akumar@somedomain.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- -- -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
