Best way I can thing of is setup two separate scopes, and only activate one. When you need to make the change, disable the first, and enable the second. Don't know how to do this on one box with a batch file, but with two DHCP servers, you can simply run "net start "Microsoft DHCP Server" in a batch file to start the redundant one, and "net stop "microsoft DHCP Server" on the failed one. From the client IPconfig /renew (NT/w2k clients) or Winipcfg /renew (9x clients) Even easier might be an inexpensive CISCO switch or something that handles the routing for you. That way you wouldn't have to mess with the clients.
