Hi, This message was originally posted in comp.binaries.ibm.pc two weeks ago, until now, I found I'm posting to a wrong group. So here's the message (modified): I'm trying to program my speaker to sound more pleasurably, (yes, I know this has been a prehistoric feat). But I'm trying. The question is how can I program the chip (8253) to let it send out more than one harmonic like those BEEP when you do something dangerous to the programs. Are there any PD source routines that can be retrived via ftp? I'll summarize the responses, since somebody out there has send me a message telling me that he/she is also interested in such. Thanks in advance. YC Lee internet: 401yclee%vax9k.dnet@nchud1.nchu.edu.tw <- sorry about the odd format my account is not on the mail server campus wide.
