CD-ROM problem

Hello! 

    I have just brought a sound blaster multimedia starter kit. I have just

installed it tonight and I have problem on the CD-ROM drive.

   When I tried to use the CD-ROM in window, I have got a message like:

There is no disk in drive D. However, I have put a disk in the drive.

When I tried to use the CD-ROM in DOS, I have got a message like:

CDR101: Not ready reading drive D
Abort, Retry, Fail?

Does anyone out there what is my problem?
