I'm putting together a distributed information system and would like to accommodate still pictures, sound, and video. What are the best (least expensive) means to display this type of information with some platform independency? Type Format X, Mac, Windows application Pictures gif, jpeg xv, ? QT , ? sound ? ?,?,? video mpeg mpeg_play, QT, ? Thanks
