realtime video capture using New Media Graphics

I am putting together a complete multimedia system for building interactive
educational programs. Part of what I need to do is capture full-motion
video from video disk and video tape, save it to disk, and display it
from an Authorware Professional application.

I have been looking at the New Media Graphics "Super VideoWindows" board
for passthrough and single frame capture, and the NMG "Super Motion
Compression" board for the full-motion capture part of the project.

Does anyone in netland have experience with the New Media Graphics
products? If so, how did the video capture stuff work for you?

It is important that what ever compression board I get works seemlessly
with MCI and the Authorware Professional program.

Thanks in advance... I would be happy to summarize any email responses I
get.

PS: I have read the New Media Jan/93 review of the SMC board... "Real
User" information is what I'm looking for...
