Videodisk player with fast external access to video memory?

Does anyone know of a videodisk player which offers fast access to its
video memory, i.e., with something like a SCSI interface on the back,
some kind of direct memory access cable that connects to a specialized
PC/Mac card, or something else along these lines (not RS-232, feh.)

We'd like to be able to download digital image information directly from
the videodisk player rather than having to use a frame grabber.

Please respond via email, and I will summarize to the net.

Thanks in advance for any info.
