My wife bought a MAC Quadra 700 with a NEC CD drive. We can play CD-ROM software fine (ie Broderbund stuff like __Grandma and Me__). My question is related to Audio CDs. Whenever we place an audio CD in the CD drive (we want to create an Audioshop playlist) we get a pop-up window saying that the disk is not in Macintosh format. It asks if I want to configure it, which of course fails. I suspect that the NEC driver is bad. I get the same results when I try and use the built-in CD player that came with the Quadra from the "apple" pulldown menu. Any ideas? We are new to the Macintosh environment. Thanks Greg
