I recently created a screensaver using JourneyWare's ANYSAVER to launch the application. My project is Authorware-based. I've noticed my project, and another screen saver I downloaded (Jack Daniels, created in director, launched through some other tool) create the same problem. When background tasks such as scan disk, compression tools or backup (1 or more?) come on during the night, problems start. These can include finding over 100 open explorer windows on the desktop in the morning, finding the saver running underneith document windows, etc. Is there some windows function/variable or call thingy that my screen saver should be shutting down for? Is there a way to lower the task priority of my saver? TIA, ____________________________________________ Thom Hounsell, pres.
