Grab a copy of http://www.goldwave.com/ digital audio editor, select the input device to 'line in' and record. Its fiddly, and a large amount of hard drive space, but should whittle down when you save it as mpg3. Once you have recorded the lot, you can edit the file, chopping it into perhaps 30 min overlapping segments or something. I got Goldwave to help put analogue cassettes to CD (as I have about 300 of them and my wife esclipses that), and have found it extremely good. Also good for recording Christmas shows to listen to later in the week (when the remove the streaming for some reason). This is of course being presumtious and assuming you are using a microsoft operating system. If using BSD or Linux there is bound to be something out there for free, just grab it off freshmeat.net.
