But I am on FreeBSD and my soundcard driver is half broken. Btw, why do you suggest using ogg? I wish the project success, but I am not so completely convinced that it makes things better. Maybe for big companies with many listeners, where the mp3 licenses might be applied. Has anybody ever payed? But in general, I think it is like the gif case. In theory, it is not open source and free, they sold a patent to Thomson, but in reality? H.
