Mediavision "Fusion CD 16" question

I have a question about the Fusion CD-16 package by mediavision...

Is the card really a Pro Audio Spectrum 16? The docs make every attempt to
hide its identity if it is...

The reason I ask is that it does everything I remember the PAS-16 being able to
do... Right down to the SCSI controller...

Ooh, maybe it's not a SCSI controller...

At any rate, it says it's has PAS and Soundblaster modes.

Anyone researched this??? Otherwise, it seems like a decent starter set-up...

(apologies if this has been asked before; this package just became of interest
to me.)

I've discussed with MV tech support who told me that fusioncd 16 has the PAS 16
card. There is one difference, however. The PAS16 in the fusion kit has a
different connection for power. Note throughout the documentation that fusion
cd and fusion cd 16 are distinguished from one another in just the ways that
PAS PLUS and PAS 16 differ. Is this clear? I don't think so.
Bye.
