Fellow Users;
I am looking for a software sound driver that will simulate an installed
sound card and allow .WAV files to be played out the pc speaker. More
specifically, I am using Windows 3.1 and want to hear the sounds w/out
having to buy a $150 card.....
Any suggestions?

The WINDOWS MULTIMEDIA book from QUE publishing has software included with it which may suit your purposes. It is a windows PC speaker driver. I don't know how well it works. It is also available at COMPUSERVE GO WINDOWS or MICROSOFT, I think. It slows your system down tremendously. I'd like to know how it works. Thanks.
