I'm looking for some Mac software that'll convert between QuickTime, PICS and whatever other formats. I'm pretty sure MacroMind Director will do it, but that's a little much just for the conversion. -tfish@world.std.com -- -tfish@world.std.com

Apple's QuickTime Starter Kit includes the _Movie Converter_ app,
I quote chapter and verse....
To convert a PICS animation file to a QuickTime movie:
1. In Movie Converter, choose Open
from the File menu.
2. In the dialog box, choose the PICS
file you wish to convert.
3. Click Open.
The file opens in a conversion
window. You can use the scroll
bar at the bottom of this window
to view the images in the file.

Cinemation will let you convert between PICS, Quicktime, and their own format. Maybe Premier will as well (don't remember since I don't really need to do it). Director certain converts PICS -> QT, I would suppose the other direction is possible as well though I haven't tried it.
