Hello,
I am looking for someone who is using a Sharp CE LT-14M or other model
external TFT monitor with 1024x768 display mode:
My problem is as follows:
- If I plug the Sharp CE LT-14M monitor and use it simultaneously
with the notebook's display
I cannot get resolution more than the notebook s display own
resolution,
i.e. if I have 800x600 pixels display on the notebook I get exactly
the same on the Sharp monitor.
- If I disable notebook's own display then the external Sharp monitor
shows "display mode = XXXX" and the picture on it is absolutely
unstable or erratic.
I have tested the Sharp monitor with NEC Versa M75
and Toshiba Libretto-50 notebooks
running Windows 95, 1024x768 resolution.
The matter is that when I plug a standard external monitor the picture
1024x768 pixels is shown fine.
The only notebook which worked well with the Sharp monitor was HP
OmniBook 600 CT.

So my question is:
Is there a method to make SharpCE LT-14M monitor work with ANY
notebook supporting 1024x768 resolution.

My second question about the same monitor.
Is there any way to avoid the appearing of small horizontal stripes on
the Sharp monitor
every time Ctrl+Esc is pressed in Windows 95?
I am sure the monitor is properly set up using user s manual and
set-up test diskette.
I would appreciate any of your comments.
Thank you, Sergey.
Will you please reply directly to my e-mail address
but not only to the newsgroup. Please change the
"vs AT pop tr @ nsit ru" in the e-mail address to an
"vs @ pop tr a nsit ru". Sorry for the trouble, but I am trying to avoid spam.
