Cayman Systems of Cambridge, MA, recently announced the
immediate availability of Release 1.6 GatorBox software.

The version 1.6 release of software includes new versions of
GatorSystem, GatorShare and GatorPrint. This release improves
performance substantially, with typical routing speeds that
are up to 90% faster than earlier versions. The GatorBox
AppleTalk-Ethernet gateway supports AppleTalk Phase I and
Phase II routing, as well as zone filters, KIP, and MacIP.

GatorBox running GatorShare software handles network protocols

network protocols allowing seamless UNIX-to-AppleTalk
printing. GatorPrint supports international character sets
and provides multiple logical views of the same physical
printer.

GatorBox with Release 1.6 connects complex internetworks by
providing such features as: Simple Network Management Protocol
(SNMP) support, Tunnelling, and Security Capabilities.

Pricing: GatorBox with Release 1.6 is available now at a
retail price of $2,795.00. It includes the AppleTalk-Ethernet
gateway, GatorSystem software and NCSA Telnet. GatorShare is
available for $1995.00 and includes GatorPrint. GatorPrint is
also available separately for $595.00
