Intuitive Edge Announces the NumberedExtensionManager Object

Columbus, OH, November 5, 1992 -- Intuitive Edge today announced the
release of the NumberedExtensionManager (NEM) Object for use with the
NeXTSTEP OS. NEM will return a unique number for a given directory.
It provides a useful way to generate unique filenames, all you have to
do is include the number anywhere in the filename and it will be
unique. It uses a cache and a lockfile to insure quick access and
unique numbers for multiple concurrent access on the same directory.

A brochure including documentation is available by mailing
"info-NEM@IntuitiveEdge.com". NEM is available on the upcoming
Electronic AppWrapper from Paget. It is also available directly from
Intuitive Edge, via email, to non-Ohio residents only. Email
NEM@IntuitiveEdge.com for information on how to purchase NEM.

Intuitive Edge, located in Columbus, Ohio, develops objects and
applications for NeXT computers as a registered NeXT developer and is
