LATTICE CROSS COMPILER AVAILABLE FOR APOLLO WORKSTATIONS

April 27 -- Apollo today announced the availability of a
cross compiler, developed by Lattice, Inc. that lets software
engineers develop personal computer (PC) applications on Apollo
workstations.
  Apollo's workstation-based software development environment,
integrated with the Lattice C Cross Compiler, enables software
engineers to produce applications much faster than they can using
a PC, the traditional platform for developing PC applications. With
Domain/PCC -- Apollo's IBM PC/AT co-processor -- and the Lattice
C Cross Compiler running on a Domain Series 3000 Personal Workstation,
programmers can write, compile, and link their applications and then
debug and test the program under MS-DOS all at the same workstation.
In addition, Domain/PCI --Apollo's personal computer interconnect
linking IBM and IBM-compatible PC's to Apollo workstations -- can
be used to allow software engineers to download an application to
existing PCs, protecting the investment companies have made in computer
equipment.
Apollo's advanced workstation-based software engineering environment
manages complex software development projects and solves productivity
problems unique to large software engineering workgroups -- capabilities
PCs don't offer.
