Adobe Systems has announced TranScript Version 4.0
software, a suite of programs that convert files into
PostScript language files and enables UNIX applications
to communicate with PostScript output devices.

TranScript 4.0 features:

	o  Communicates with any PostScript printer on
	   the network

	o  Works with hundreds of UNIX applications, such
	   as Scribe, TeX, and FrameMaker

	o  Converts non-PostScript language files (such as
	   Tek 4014, plot, troff, ntroff, and ASCII) into
	   PostScript language files -- and specify options
	   such as font selection and size/page orientation.

	o  Motif graphical user interface (command line
	   interface is still functional)  (NEW!)

	o  Direct support for Ethernet and parallel printers (NEW!)

	o  Supports PostScript fax printers (NEW!)
