As an ACM member for over two years now, it wasn't until a month or so ago that I found a New York City ACM meeting (oddly enough, through an advertisement in the NY Times Classified section!). Maybe I'm just naive (;->) but I kinda assumed that if such a group existed, they'd have sent me a notice, considering that the international group obviously has me listed as a New Yawker. Don't the local and central groups share mailing lists? Gee whiz! (BTW, I still haven't been sent a renewal form, if such a thing exists, by the NYC group. Guess I'd better call them.) --- Ken Bell (kenbell@panix.com -or- syklb@nasagiss.giss.nasa.gov)
