1. I had little or no exposure to this {other than incidental reports,
the only thing I noticed about it is that Decus gave him a refund
while in its catalog it states clearly that refunds will not be
granted under any circumstances.
2. Since Mitnick apparently, based on the information that I was
told, committed a criminal act against Digital, it could
impose an interdict upon him.
3. I'm not going to spend good money or waste time reading a book I
have no interest in and also am informed is badly done and
weak in the subject matter.
4. I am getting just a little sick and tired of people flaming
someone because they ask a question or pose a comment and the
person in question doesn't know the whole story. Some of us
are completely unaware of what is going on; some people are
very well informed.
One time on this BBS's Firearms conference, I asked a question
about the movie "Day of the Jackal" and "The Exterminator" and
"Jaws" where they all created explosive bullets using mercury
and in Jackal they discussed mercury vs. glycerine, and I wanted
to know what the difference was.
The Moderator flamed me for asking this type of question. I
am rather upset at being chewed out for not knowing every
(expletive deleted) issue in every context.
